Want to enjoy your time in the kitchen? Just beginning to cook? Need some help to cook your favorite meals or expand your repertoire?

Join Master Food Preserver, CCE Nutrition Educator, and professional cook of 25 years, Janie Greenwald in 2017 as she hosts Kitchen Classes designed to increase your enjoyment of time spent in the kitchen. Each class fee is $35.00.Two or more classes: $30.00 each class.

SPICE BLENDING                                                              Thursday, July 20 2017 6pm-8pm
Take your same old meals from drab to fab! Taste spices and spice mixes from around the world. Make your own blend to take home.

PRESSURE CANNING                                                        Thursday, July 27 2017 6pm-9pm
Learn to safely preserve your low acid foods like vegetables, meats, soups, stocks and stews. Take home a jar of whatever we preserve in class

QUICK PICKLES                                                          Thursday, August 24 2017 6pm-9pm
Learn the Boiling Water Bath method of preserving food from your garden or farm market. Can and take home a jar of dilly beans.

All classes provide safe and reliable information and are a completely hands on experience.
