Fill out this 4-H Interest Form and check out our club map for a reference of where our clubs operate.
Being a 4-H leader is one of the most rewarding volunteer experiences with youth. Here are the steps you need to complete to begin a 4-H club!
1) Have an open heart and mind.
2) Be a safe adult who kids can trust.
2) Contact your local 4-H Program; in Ulster County, call 845-340-3990.
3) Fill out our adult volunteer application and return it in person at 232 Plaza Rd Kingston, NY12401 or email it to ulster4H@cornell.edu
4) Complete a reference and background check then attend required trainings with Ulster County 4-H
5) Register yourself and members with the proper forms and then start to "Learn by Doing"!
Fill out our volunteer application and contact the 4-H office to discuss what you're interested in doing. We would love to have activity leaders, project leaders, chaperones or other volunteers who are willing to help at our events and programs including the county fair, public presentations, awards and recognition evaluation, overnight trips or an upcoming program.
