Livestock Production

The livestock industry in Ulster County continues to grow. Traditionally a dairy and egg county, there continues to be increased interest in pasture-raised beef, pork, goats and poultry.

CCE Ulster County has a Livestock Educator, with expertise in mixed species grazing, and a Field Crop Production Educator covering economics and field crop production for livestock producers.
