Join us for a hands-on cooking workshop focused on simple, affordable meals that help support healthy, growing bodies and reduce the effects of lead exposure through nutrition. Together we'll prepare juicy turkey meatballs in tomato sauce, sauteed kale, and a delicious calcium and vitamin C rich dessert while learning how nutrients like iron, calcium, and vitamin C can help protect children and families. Participants will enjoy practical cooking tips, budget-friendly ingredient ideas, and a shared meal in a welcoming community setting.
Tickets are FREE, but registration is required.
REGISTRATION OPENS ON FRIDAY, 5/15 AT 9AM!
