Meat The Farmer

Meat your local livestock farmers, taste locally sourced meats, and learn about preparing underused meat cuts and buying locally via a directory of New York farms that sell meat in bulk, directly to consumers.

The meat tasting menu will feature an assortment of cuts from livestock including beef, pork, lamb, goat, emu, and poultry.

A meat expert will discuss meat cuts, especially ways to prepare underused cuts.

Cost to attend is $10. The ticket includes event entry, meat tasting, and an educational program. Nonalcoholic and alcoholic drinks and a full diner menu will be available for purchase during the event.

Free “find your farmer, fill your freezer” cooler totes to the first 75 registrants!

Pre-Registration closes at 12noon on Friday October 21st, you can pay at the door the day of the event with cash or check.
