Melanie has worked in youth development for almost two decades including work with homeless undocumented youth in DC and alternative high school youth in Brooklyn. She has led 4-H programs in Ulster County since 2011 with her amazing 4-H Team and Volunteers. 4-H is probably a lot different than you think it is so you should ask her about it. Some current programs are a Public Speaking training and evaluation program, and our science and tech mentoring programs serving youth under-represented in STEM careers.
Melanie has worked on various state leadership teams, and has accepted volunteer officer positions in her State and National Professional Development Associations. Melanie has lived abroad and is tri-lingual in Spanish and French, which has opened countless doors in her life. On her free time you will find her gallivanting in the mountains with her dogs.
