The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) provides FREE nutrition lessons on creating healthy balanced meals for families. This 8-week series focuses on incorporating more fruits & vegetables, food safety, making healthy food choices shopping on a budget, and the benefits of daily physical activity to maintain a healthy lifestyle. This FREE program is offered to EFNEP qualified households with children under age 19, that are eligible for Head Start, Medicaid, SNAP, WIC, or free/reduced school lunch.
