CCEUC hosts Shane LaBrake for a two-day intensive class on the safe use and care of chainsaws, one of the most powerful pieces of outdoor equipment that farmers or farmworkers can use. The class will provide in-depth coverage of safety, basic chain saw maintenance, as well as hands-on experiences with bucking, limbing and felling.
Participants will be asked to follow Centers for Disease Control and New York State Covid-19 protocols while attending the event.
Please note that the day of the events you must wear the following: long pants, long sleeved shirt, if you have long hair please tie it back, no loose jewelry and steel toed boots. The boots must be steel toed, not plastic safety toe or plain toed footwear.
