Landowners, especially farmland owners and farm operators, are being approached to lease farmland to a solar energy company. Before signing on the dotted line, everyone is encouraged to understand how the process actually works. Most often, once a contract is signed, it and the terms it contains are binding.
Join Ulster County CCE for Navigating Solar Leases and the Solar Development Process, a Zoom meeting for farmers and rural landowners to answer questions about solar leasing.
This event is free to attend, but you must register online through Zoom to get the meeting information.
