Ulster County Agricultural Society Erica Bell Memorial Scholarship

Erica Renee Bell(1993-2010) was a life time member of 4-H where she won several awards and was involved in many community projects. She attended the Ulster County Fair each year to have the opportunity to showcase her livestock. She participated in the 4-H Livestock Auction selling her prize winning turkeys. Erica was very determined and maintained a positive outlook on life despite her battle with cancer.
Two $500 scholarships will be open to any student who participates in any of the Ulster County Fair departments, activities, or operations. Applicants are NOT limited to Ulster County residents.
Seniors in high school and college students through their junior year are eligible to apply. Scholarship swill be awarded during the Ulster County Fair opening ceremony on Wednesday at 6:00 pm.
To qualify for a scholarship from the Ulster County Agricultural Society, students must be enrolling or already enrolled in an accredited college or university pursing studies in any,but not limited to the following fields:Agriculture,Agriculture Business,Business/Liberal Arts, Ecology and Environmental Technology,Family&Consumer Sciences,Flora-culture,Home Economics/Industrial Arts, Horticulture, Forestry & Natural Resources or Veterinary Medicine and Veterinary Technology.
Application deadline is June 15,2019.
