4-H Introduction to Veterinary Science Program

Youth ages 8 to 12 with an interest in animals and veterinary science can now sign up for the 4-H Introduction to Veterinary Science Program, which will take place on April 27, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at SUNY Ulster (491 Cottekill Road, Stone Ridge, NY 12484).

The program is sponsored by the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ulster County’s (CCEUC) 4-H Youth Development Program and the SUNY Ulster Vet Tech Program, led by Dr. Beth Alden. For this program, youth will explore animal science careers and learn practical skills from rehabilitation specialists, veterinarians, SUNY Ulster professors, students, and other area professionals.

The registration fee is $15 for enrolled 4-H members; $20 for non-4-H members. Participation is limited to 30 students. Registrations will be received on a paid, first-come, first-served basis.
