4-H Public Presentations is perhaps the most important youth development program we provide and is cited by our alumni as having long lasting benefits to their lives and careers. Through this program youth develop self-confidence and poise, learn to express their ideas clearly, and gain knowledge on a subject of their choosing. Kids can give presentations in different areas: Cloverbud (4-H ages 5-7), Demonstration, Illustrated Talk, Creative Communications, Formal Speech, and Teen Interview (youth 13+). Youth receive feedback from two volunteer evaluators and those with exceptional presentations can progress to district competitions, and state level clinics.Nov 17th is the date of our next County event, hosted at SUNY Ulster.
This program is offered free of charge to independent members
Information sessions will be happening on Oct 30th and Nov 7th at 6pm at the CCEUC Office. Please register your attendance here. These are considered mandatory for new public presentation independent members.
