Farm Tour

  • Wednesday, June 6, 2018, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

During this tour of a local cattle farm, we will get a look at the ways that these folks are able to maximize their use and stewardship of perennial pastures to boost animal weight gain and improve health.

We will also talk about how rotating pastures can improve the diversity and vigor of your pastures and animals.

Location is TBD (Farm in Kerhonkson, NY - will be sent to people who register)

This is a tour of a working cattle ranch so wear appropriate foot wear. We will have a foot dip and yes you have to use it. We go rain or shine and there may be bugs, poison ivy, ticks, and biting flies so dress appropriately and come with your questions,
