Medicare Alphabet Soup Decoded

  • Thursday, November 2, 2017, 5:30 PM - 6:15 PM

Confused by the Medicare Plan alphabet soup?

Come hear Eleanor Minsky, Ulster County Office for the Aging Medicare Outreach Coordinator and retired attorney, who will present about the complex choices available in the Medicare system.

You will learn about saving money when purchasing prescription drugs, and a little known federal program that refunds Medicare premiums to financially eligible seniors.

Ms. Minsky practiced in the areas of complex litigation and elder law for over thirty years. She shares her knowledge throughout Ulster County by presenting to organizations about Medicare and also meets with seniors on an individual basis to focus on their specific Medicare needs.

You may come seeking information about your Medicare choices looking like a “deer in the headlights” and leave confident and relaxed, armed with a path to go forward.

Knowing how to navigate the system brings untold dividends to a senior’s – and family’s – peace of mind. CCEUC’s Relatives as Parents Program (RAPP), supporting caregivers and children when parents are unavailable to parent, is honored to be hosting this event.

Please RSVP as soon as you can to Maria Cecilia Deferrari, Relatives as Parents Program Outreach Coordinator, mcd242@cornell.edu or (845) 340-3990 x347 since free, light refreshments will be served! See you there!
