Urban Agriculture Workshop

Are you a considering urban/small acreage agriculture as a source of income or a new food source?  Join CCEUC educator, Christian Malsatzki, for a look at urban agriculture.

Christian will cover a broad range of topics that those considering, or just getting into, the practice will find useful as they move forward with their plans.

Discussion areas will include:

  • What is urban ag?
  • NY agriculture tax exemption
  • Urban ag practices and considerations
  • Common practices
  • Food or profit
  • Diversified farming
  • Urban ag without the land
  • Niche markets  

Registration is $10 per person.  Walk-ins are welcome but space is limited to 30 participants - register ahead to reserve your seat!  Registration deadline May 19.  Two ways to register:
