What will happen to your family farm business in the future?  How will you retire?  What if you or your spouse become disabled and unable to manage the business? Join CCE Ulster County and area experts in estate law, retirement planning and farm and business transfer for a 4 session program, Managing for Today and Tomorrow, one of the programs offered by the New York Annie's Project.

The MTT curriculum provides participants with the tools and resources to help begin the process of farm transitioning to the next generation and/or to an appropriate farm business ownership. Participants will learn about business, estate, retirement, and succession planning from area professionals, legal advisors and subject matter specialists, most of whom serve agricultural clientele in their respective communities. Pertinent discussions accompany presentations including follow-up activities for family members to address at home.

Thanks to a generous grant from the Duke Foundation through the AFT Farmlink Program, the registration fee in Ulster County will be reimbursed for participants who complete at least 3 sessions, but spaces are limited.

To register:  use printable registration form here MTT Registration Form.
