Northeast SARE "Unifying Resistance Management Education for Vegetable & Fruit Production", a "train the trainer" series of 4 webinars:

Monday 11/30:  Overview of Resistance Management with Dr. Meg McGrath, Cornell University

Thursday 12/3:  Fungicide Resistance with Dr. Meg McGrath, Cornell University

Monday 12/7:  Insecticide Resistance with Dr. Andrei Alyokhin, University of Maine

Thursday 12/10:  Herbicide Resistance with Dr. Rich Bonanno, University of Massachusetts

Northeastern Extension personnel, IPM scouts, ag suppliers, and industry representatives are invited to participate in this educational series:

- create a unified approach to delivering resistance management (RM) education to Northeastern producers.

- interactive, educational forums that focus on Northeastern agriculture. Increase understanding of pesticide and resistance modes of action.

- get the tools you need to properly engage and educate growers about RM

- receive a RM Core Module (PowerPoint presentation and video to adapt and use for grower education)

- promote a consistent and comprehensive understanding of RM to slow development of pesticide resistance, improve pesticide efficacy and longevity, environmental stewardship, and farm sustainability.
