Soil Health Field Day

Come to Soil Health Field Day which will have something for everyone ~ Dairy, Livestock, Field Crop and Vegetable Farmers ~ plus over 35 cover crop plots to view, featuring Ray Archuleta, NRCS National Soil Health Expert!  This event will be held rain or shine.  Presentations include:

  • Understanding Soil Health
  • How Cover Crops Affect Soil Health
  • Strip Tillage & No Till
  • Fitting Cover Crops into Rotations
  • Forage Value of Cover Crops
  • Industry Reps and Farmers Experience with Cover Crops

Location: Fox Creek Park, Route 30, Schoharie (use 495 N Main St for GPS)

Time: 10:00 am - 3:00 pm (registration begins at 9:30 am)  

Cost: $15 per person, which includes lunch.  

Pre-registration is required.  Registration deadline:  Aug. 27.
