Organic: A Look Behind the Label

Organic Food has experienced explosive growth for over a decade, but confusion remains about what the “USDA Organic” label really means.

Join Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) for an in-depth look at the farm systems, rules, and enforcement behind the label. We’ll delve headfirst into fact and fiction to provide you with knowledge to confidently make your food purchasing decisions.

This consumer education class will be led by CCE Organic Fruit and Vegetable Production Educator, Emily Cook, and CCE Livestock Educator, Erin Campbell-Craven.

There is a $10 fee for the class.
