A changing climate means new and adaptive pest problems for New York State growers. 

New York State Integrated Pest Management Site: The New York State Integrated Pest Management Program develops sustainable ways to manage pests and helps people to use methods that minimize environmental, health, and economic risks.

Ticks: Ticks and tick-borne diseases have become a significant public health issue in New York, with different tick species and diseases currently present and spreading within the state and region.

Organic IPM: Resource Guide for Organic Insect and Disease Management

Northeast IPM Center:The IPM and Pest Management Field Guides below provide general recommendations for how to manage pests. These documents differ from IPM Guidelines in that they do not attempt to define whether IPM is being used.

UC Davis IPM Site: Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is a holistic strategy for preventing pests and pest damage to a system.
