Cornell Pest Management Guidelines

Cornell's Pest Management Guidelines (formerly called Cornell Recommends) are publications which provide weed, insect, and disease management information, both chemical and non-chemical, for commercial crop producers, facilities managers and homeowners. Appropriate integrated pest management (IPM) guidelines are included as well as chemical control tables. Most are updated yearly with regulatory information.

The Guidelines can be purchased online or by mail from the Cornell Store*.  For all information please visit the Cornell Store webpage at http://store.cornell.edu/c-875-pmep-guidelines.aspx or call 844-688-7620.

Beginning with the 2015 series, Cornell Guidelines will be available in your choice of formats:

  • Print Copies are spiral bound for ease of use, feature laminated covers for durability, and are updated annually. They are well suited for use in the field or office.
  • Online Access versions can be viewed on any computer or mobile device (e.g., smart phone, tablet), contain hyperlinks to additional resources, and may be updated during the growing season.
  • Print and Online versions are available with the "Bundle Print & Online" option, in which you will pay less than the cost of buying each separately.

Free Copy of Guidelines: If you enroll in the Eastern New York Commercial Horticulture Program (ENYCHP) a free copy of one of the guidelines may be included in your enrollment fee. (Note that enrollment in the ENYCHP is a separate enrollment from CCE Ulster County's enrollment).

*Cornell Guidelines are no longer available for free online from Cornell. Because of the high cost of shipping, CCE of Ulster County can no longer order and ship copies of the Guidelines.
