Educator with over 30 years of experience in youth program development,
administration and education. He has spent the past decade creating and
implementing stream-based environmental science educational programs for K-6
students in the
He holds a Bachelors of Science degree from the State University of New York at New Paltz in Environmental Geology, as well as numerous graduate-level courses in related fields including: Hydrogeology, Geomorphology, Land Use Planning, Glacial Geology, Environmental Surveying, and Watershed Field Studies. He has taught at the college level and has led many outdoor field trips and excursions.
In his free time Matt enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and is slightly addicted to building with LEGO bricks. Additionally, he is involved in organizing several events within his community each year.
