Food Preservation: Introduction to Fermented Vegetables

Do you love fermented foods and want to preserve more food at home? Join our CCE Educator & Master Food Preserver Kathryn for an introduction to Lactic Acid Fermentation. LA ferments are one of the simplest ways to extend the life and enhance the flavor of your vegetables! Participants will learn what equipment you need and how to safely and properly ferment. This class will include a hands-on demonstration of making a jar of sauerkraut with a chance to taste the finished product and take a jar home with you.

Space is very limited and registration is required. Attendees must be 18 years or over and sign a waiver to participate.
