The Pollinator Party planning committee has been following the weather forecast, a nor'easter predicted for tomorrow with heavy rainfall and 20-30 mph winds. The planning committee made the difficult decision to cancel the event tomorrow. We know we initially said "rain or shine," but the predicted weather is extreme, and for the safety of our volunteers and the public, we have decided to cancel the pollinator party.
It’s a Pollinator Party, and you’re invited! Join the CCEUC Master Gardeners as we celebrate pollinators.
Did you know pollinators provide one-third of our food and most of our flowers? They do essential work, and it’s time to honor them. Bring the whole family for a day of pollinator fun, filled with activities for the kids, informative learning stations, a Pollina-tour of the meadow, door prizes, giveaways, and more!
New this year: earn a Pollinator Patch when you complete our Pollinator Passport at the event! Come discover how to create a pollinator-friendly habitat in your backyard and celebrate pollinators with us!
The event will be held in the CCEUC Master Gardener Demonstration Garden at SUNY Ulster, located at 491 Cottekill Road, Stone Ridge, NY. This is a free event for the whole family! The event is held rain or shine.
Free!
