Hudson Valley Gives Day, a 24-hour event that stretches across 7 counties in the Hudson Valley, is all about the motto: Give Where You Live! We love this sentiment because our work fosters economic stability and community building in Ulster County. A gift to CCE Ulster supports our critical programming and the local economy. Organizations like CCE Ulster create local jobs, make use of local businesses, and provides services and programs that make the Hudson Valley a wonderful place to live, work, and recreate.

What is CCE?

Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE) is a dynamic education system connecting Cornell's world-class research with regional and county-based educators and partners across the state. With a presence in every county and all five boroughs of New York City, CCE is uniquely positioned to tailor opportunities and resources to match the diverse and ever-evolving needs of individual communities across the state. CCE partners with local, state, and federal government agencies, and is supported by the national land grant system and Cornell University. In fulfillment of Cornell's land grant mission, faculty and staff collaborate with extension associates, agriculture specialists, CCE educators and staff, local partners, and volunteers across New York state to engage citizens and empower communities to transform and grow from the ground up. The resulting education system is responsive, nimble, research-based, and locally-rooted. CCE Ulster has been serving the Ulster County community through this system for over 100 years!

What will your gift do?

CCE Ulster operates the 4-H, provides critical services to farmers, administers SNAP education, organizes school wellness committees, and much more. A gift to CCE Ulster helps build and grow a healthy, vibrant Ulster County community!
