Snow Date - Annual Meeting and Presentation on Hemp

At CCEUC’s Annual Meeting, we will host the election of new board members, vote on the Association’s updated Constitution, and highlight 2019’s programs. To request a mailed copy of the Constitution please contact us.

Brian Farmer, co-founder of The Cannabis Conservancy (TCC), presents “Hemp and Cannabis in the U.S. - An ongoing saga and personal report from the frontline.”

This meeting is free and open to the public, but please RSVP. Light refreshments will be served.

The Cannabis Conservancy (TCC), a third party standards developer and certifier for the sustainable production of cannabis. Since 2016, TCC has been certifying growers in the U.S. and more recently in Canada. TCC also works internationally in partnership with Control Union (a Netherlands based certification body). In addition to launching TCC, Brian has spent the last decade as an integrated pest management (IPM) consultant and agricultural auditor assessing farms, packing houses, and green houses to international Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) standards. Brian has worked with Global GAP for certification bodies, SCS Global Services, Food-Chain ID, Det Norske Veritas, and National Britannia. Locally, he is a small scale organic grower and co-owner, with his wife Tara, of the Rail Trail Cafe in Rosedale, New York. Farmer also serves as a Board member for the Rondout Valley Growers Association (RVGA).New board member elections will be held, as well as a review of our highlights from the year. Brian Farmer will give a presentation titled, Hemp and Cannabis in the U.S. - An ongoing saga and personal report from the frontline.
