4-H Fall Fest

  • Saturday, October 12, 2019, 3:00 PM - 8:30 PM

Enjoy autumn in the Hudson Valley at the 4-H Fall Fest on October 12!

There will be a petting zoo, face painting, dog demonstrations, crafts, and other activities. The event will be held at the Ulster County Fairgrounds (249 Libertyville Road, New Paltz) from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Then, cozy up with lawn chairs and blankets for a family-friendly movie showing, Dolphin Tale, beginning at 7 p.m. The event is free to attend and there will be items available for purchase from the 4-H Milkshake Booth and Snack Bar, as well as $5 pumpkin painting.

The 4-H Fall Fest brings interested families together with 4-H leaders and youth who are accepting new members to their clubs. 4-H Clubs focus on a variety of different interests – animal science, crafts, community service, civic engagement, leadership, technology, environment, and more! Enrolled 4-Hers have the opportunity to participate in a number of programs offered through Cornell Cooperative Extension such as Career Explorations at Cornell University and the Veterinary Science Program at SUNY Ulster. In addition, all 4-Hers are encouraged to enter their projects as exhibits at the Ulster County Fair with the chance of qualifying for the New York State Fair in Syracuse!

This event is sponsored by the 4-H Teen Council. Fill out this link to register your interest in 4-H
