Chicken Health Symposium

Bumble foot, mites,  coccidiosis, pullorum-these  are just a few of the disorders that can infect your flock.  In this symposium we will review best practices for preventing and treating your chickens so then can be as healthy and productive as possible.

CCE Ulster County’s Livestock Educator, Jason Detzel, will facilitate a discussion centered around holistic chicken health including vaccinations, disease prevention and treatment, predator control issues, and bio security measures. 

Coffee and light refreshments will be provided.

This is a free class and open to the public but we ask that you please pre-register by April 6 by emailing jbd222@cornell.edu.
