Garden Day: "Style & Practical Matters"

Style and Practical Matters Mingle at the Master Gardener Program's 18th Annual Spring Garden Day!  To register and for all event details see below or use this printable brochure and registration form.

Join in the fun of learning how to grow your best garden ever!  We welcome all gardeners from beginners to experts to take part in this day-long gardening experience at SUNY Ulster Community College Campus, 491 Cottekill Road in Stone Ridge.  

This year’s theme, “Style and Practical Matters” features 16 classes and a keynote address by Marie Iannotti, author of four gardening books including “A Gardener’s Tour of the Hudson Valley” and resident gardening expert at  Whether your interest is in ornamental or edible gardening, design, garden science or problem solving, Garden Day has it all. 

Dig your hands into topics that will have you looking at your garden with fresh eyes. This year's classes:

Garden Day includes The Marketplace featuring local garden vendors, a bake sale and raffle, and Master Gardeners available for free soil tests and plant diagnosis!

Registration for the day is $40 in advance; $45 at the door. A catered lunch is available and must be purchased upon registering, or you can bring your own.  Pre-registration is highly recommended as classes fill up fast.
