IPM Field Scouting and Pruning/Shearing Demo Twilight Meeting: Please join us for a very special hands‐on twilight meeting hosted at Richard and Wendy Phillips’ Evergreen Farm, 407 North Tower Hill Road, Millbrook, NY. See printable brochure/registration form for all details.
Learn and enhance hands‐on insect/disease scouting and monitoring techniques. Betsy Lamb and Brian Eschenaur with the NYS IPM Program will focus on current effective and economical methods of managing pests. Paul Shealer retired Penn State Christmas Tree Specialist and owner of Evergreen Acres Christmas Tree Farm in northeast PA will demonstrate pruning and shearing techniques for all Christmas tree types.
Growers are welcome to bring along their own weed samples or pictures for identification and management recommendations.
