Join the Master Gardeners at their award-winning Xeriscape Garden at SUNY Ulster for "Perennial and Grass Division", the season opener of the annual “Learning in the Garden" series. Learn how to successfully divide perennials and ornamental grass, and go home with a few great new plants for your very own garden!
This fun spring workshop will take place rain or shine. Please dress appropriately. It’s recommended that you bring gardening gloves and tools such as pitch forks, spades and trowels. Participants will work in small groups guided by Master Gardeners and leave with some prize divisions from the Xeriscape Garden.
There is a $15 fee per person for the Division class and pre-registration is required to participate in the Division Class. To register use this printable brochure/registration form.
The Learning in the Garden series continues with the following FREE classes, held on the 3rd Saturday of each month, rain or shine, starting at 10am* and lasting about an hour, from May through October. Walk-ins are welcome for these free classes, but please RSVP in case of a cancellation due to inclement weather:
