Worker Protection Standard (WPS) Training for Workers and Handlers on Farms Using Organic and Non-Restricted Pesticides

The Environmental Protection Agency requires all farm workers to receive safety training if working on an operation using ANY pesticides, including those approved for organic production.The training must be given by a licensed applicator or approved trainer. This workshop will provide this required safety training, give an overview of the WPS, and review what employers must do to comply with WPS.
This training is free for farms enrolled in the CCE Ulster County Agriculture Program and $10.00 per farm if NOT enrolled. Click here for enrollment info.
