What is Ag Enrollment?

Becoming a member of the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ulster County Commercial Agriculture Program helps to support our agriculture programs for farmers, land owners and people interested in supporting a vibrant farm industry in Ulster County. Benefits of Ag Enrollment to your farm or family:

  • Discounted registration fees for many of the Commercial Agriculture Program classes and workshops.Your fee can pay for itself in savings!
  • Subscription to Ag-Focus, a monthly print newsletter of agriculture in Ulster and Orange County. We also send out other extension information and valuable newsletters* and timely grower e-alerts (by e-mail). For available subscriptions: CCEUC Ag Newsletters and E-alerts.
  • The opportunity to list your business and contact information on our Supporting Farms and Businesses webpage.
  • You will also ensure that we have up-to date information about your farm to better assist you, and you receive timely information on upcoming programs and resources for farmers and agricultural landowners in Ulster County and the Hudson Valley.

*Enrollment in the CCE Ulster County Agriculture Program does not enroll you in ENYCHP, our regional fruit and vegetable program, funded in part by CCE Ulster County, which offers ENYCHP enrollees timely commodity-specific newsletters and e-alerts.  For more information on that program visit http://enych.cce.cornell.edu/.

CCE Ulster County strives to make programs accessible regardless of ability to pay. If you are an Ulster County commercial fruit or vegetable farmer, and cannot afford the enrollment fee for ENYCHP, contact CCE Ulster County directly at (845) 340-3990.
