Are you a teen 14+ that wants to be part of meaningful dialogue about race and racial identities? The Act for Change Teen Anti-racism Program uses peer dialogue to challenge racism and racist structures and builds bridges across created differences. It is unlike other anti-racism programs in that it relies on the input and participation of its teen participants to make a change. The program engages through Teen Talk breakout rooms, games and polls, short video clips to discuss, and more. Teens will be given tools to act for change the community in which they live, and participate in a final showcase.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Next cohort will get started June 29th so get in your application today! Youth participants are expected to attend weekly meetings from June 29th to mid-August. Meetings take place on Tuesday afternoon.
